Open Call for New York City-based Composers, All Genres: Six Musicians’ Residencies :: Application Deadline: February 26, 2010, 5:00 PM.

NYC Performing Arts Spaces is pleased to announce an open call for applications for the Spring 2010 round of the Con Edison Musicians’ Residency: Composition Program.

New York City-based composers in all music genres are invited to apply for one of six (6) three-month residencies at one of three cultural facilities. The newly-expanded residency program will provide awardees with use of suitable composition and rehearsal space for a three-month period, as well as a stipend. Each facility will present a free public program featuring their resident composers’ work.

Five (5) of the residencies will run May – July 2010 and one will run October – December 2010. Application Deadline: February 26, 2010, 5:00 PM.
